Creative COW meets The Farm with 2 new tutorials!
After Effects CS3's Puppet Tool, both in AE and alongside Apple Motion

Creative COW leader and After Effects New York founder Aharon Rabinowitz was talking with one of the most active members of that group, Jim Geduldick, about AE CS3's new Puppet Tool. Jim's a leader at Toolfarm, and was thinking about how to use the Puppet Tool with Apple Motion. This gave Aharon an idea how to do something similar with a particle system in After Effects.

Their ideas sparked each other to new refinements, so the final step seemed obvious: have both tutorials at both sites, here at Creative COW, and at Toolfarm.com.

That's just what we've done. Click the images below to take you to the versions posted here:

Audio Professionals: OT: Why does everybody stand by us when we strike?
It seems that every time we tear down or strike a large event, guest speakers and clients like to stand right by the mixer console while we are attempting to clear and wrap the gear. We can be in a large hall the size of a football field and yet they still stand on our cables. Are they trying to hang with the Cool people or what?
"

Adobe After Effects: Sound in 3D Space

"...W
hen I put the footage into the Viewer or the Canvas (on my PowerBook 1.67 G4), it looks fine but when I hit play, the brightness of the shot jumps higher than when parked -- and when parked, it looks exactly like the original in terms of brightness/gamma. Any ideas why?
