"Internet Killed the Video Star" a smash!

DVD cover"'Internet Killed the Video Star' is another must-have DVD from Aharon Rabinowitz. Concise, clear and funny all at the same time, this training takes a complex process and makes it easy to understand and replicate in your own projects. If you're like me and need to work fast and learn from the best - I highly recommend adding this title to your collection."
- Jayse Hansen, Motion Artist

Aharon has managed to take a topic that would normally be used to induce short naps and has actually made it entertaining. I've been using encoding software for years and thought I had a pretty good handle on it until I watched "Internet Killed the Video Star". I have never come across training videos that have matched the work and effort that Aharon puts into his tutorials. No matter how much I think I know, I usually end up learning a lot more. "Internet Killed the Video Star" already has a place reserved on my shelf.
- Sean Cusson, Q Media, Inc.

"Internet Killed the Video Star" is already the fastest-selling DVD in the history of the Creative COW Master Series. Hundreds of copies have already been shipped around the world: Romania, South Africa, Sweden, New Zealand, Maylasia, and many more.

And why not? No matter what kind of work you do, if you want to get it online (including for video iPods), you need this disk. Even better, you're going to enjoy this disk while you're learning.

Buy now and save 20%! Only $39.95!

    Heard Around the Herd

Here's some hot threads going on right now around Creative COW!

Apple Final Cut Pro Forum : workflow riddle: 24p to 29.97 to 24 p
Avoid this headache...it really isn't worth the time and effort. And a DaVinci is MORE than capable of color correcting HD. Is it the facility that isn't HD ready?

HDV Format Forum : Standard Monitor for HDV color?
When talking about monitor color accuracy, technically "colorspace" refers to the defined palette available for any given imaging system. NTSC and the very first JVC HDV (single CCD) camcorders were Rec 601, all remaining HD is under a new standard, Rec 709.

Apple DVD Studio Pro Forum : Best method for least compressed DVD
Export a self-contained QT movie from your FCP timeline using "current settings." Open Compressor and choose your bitrate. I never go much past 6.5 bit rate CBR best quality. The CBR setting will get you a good looking encode for your 6 minute show. If your project was a 2 hour movie then I'd recommend something completely different for you. Encode your audio to the industry standard AC3 file format instead of staying with .aif audio. The combined bitrate of your video and .aif audio may get high enough to cause some DVD players to choke. AC3 audio is a DVD standard and has a much lower bitrate.
